As the noise died away outside the cave Rick looked back at me and said, “Follow me!” I grabbed Jesse and did followed him out of the cave to the right. We didn’t go down to the beach but followed an animal trail through the bush. We wanted to be close to the compound so we headed back that way climbing into the forest. I hated leaving the beach but we need a safe place to hide.
