“This is dry so I don’t think the tide gets this high. Why don’t we camp here for now and relax. We can go back to the compound tonight and see if we can help anyone.” Rick helped push Jesse up the hill.
We made ourselves at home, there was a ledge so we could cook some food there and not be seen by anyone on the island.
“I wonder how many guards are here?” I asked Rick.
“I don’t know, but I’m sure were bound to find out.”
I agreed with him.
The mesquites were gone and we had a lazy afternoon making plans for that night.
Then all of a sudden we heard it before we saw it. Two helicopters were approaching the island and they were coming our way!
